Xanthan gum is a kind of microbial extracellular polysaccharide with wide functions produced by Xanthomnas campestris with carbohydrate as the main raw material (such as corn starch) through fermentation engineering.

Application

1) Used as stabilizer, emulsifier, suspending agent, thickener and processing    

    assistant.

2) Used in drilling in special environments such as ocean and high salt zone, 

    and can also be used as oil displacement agent to reduce dead oil zone    

    and improve oil recovery rate

3) Used as a component of toothpaste to reduce tooth surface wear.

4) Used in most high-grade cosmetics, it has the effects of resisting oxidation 

    and preventing skin aging.
